How to Build a Catapult

Have you ever wanted to learn how to build a catapult? I have a couple of catapults for projects physics school built and was amazed at how much fun they really were. I mean, what's more fun than throwing objects over long distances? Well, I wonder how many people do so would be a main topic of an article to write about it, thought. This article will talk about some basic principles are as a cover to build a catapult from scratch!

The first thing to remember in building aCatapult security! If you fear something, maybe not sure, then do not!

Okay, what are we building this from? I recommend something simple to start. So let's say PVC pipe. And 'cheap and easy to use. After one of them, you can upgrade to hurl large objects in wood. Remember, safety always first.

Must have three essential parts of a catapult, you know, to learn how to build a catapult. Are the Swinger,Base and anchor.

The ground should be wide and very stable. It's getting on pretty tight. You can do this in parallel with two PVC pipes on the other, or you can close in a rectangular shape. I wish to close off only because I like things the best we can. This can be done with a little 'PVC primer and PVC glue. This course is optional and will work OK without it, but it will catapult your last much longer!

Now the Swinger is a bit 'complicated. There are many factors that will change the power of your catapult. The longer it is, the more you throw objects, but to do it too long, and can now, weak and not working well, like. Fortunately for us, PVC is easily cut. So I want a bit 'long, and if it works well, you can only cut a bit' shorter, until you find the perfect place.

The anchor is a bit 'different from a normal catapult for a reason. We are with PVC pipe.To put it simply, it can only be used manually, down, across the Swinger. Or are you a hook at the base could be attached on the side with the Swinger. Then you should attach bungee cords out of the tube holding the swingers in place.

So you should know how easy to build a catapult with inexpensive materials!
